MIT’s Department of Urban Studies & Planning - Tutorials and Tools

DUSPviz is an initiative of MIT’s Department of Urban Studies & Planning to improve departmental capacity in data analysis, visual representation, and technological communication tools. The mission is to improve planning through the open sharing of knowledge and technology and teach concepts and fundamentals manifested through common communication tools and cutting edge technology.

Most of the DUSPviz workshops and sessions are preserved as tutorials for reference, this page contains DUSPviz tutorials and workshop materials, including videos, handouts, and datasets. While we try to get all material online, certain material does not lend itself to posting. Contact DUSPviz if you have a suggestion for a tutorial or resource, or to request material that might not be online.
