The Aberdeen Society of Architects

"The Aberdeen Society of Architects, a chapter of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland, represents some 200 Chartered Architects within the City of Aberdeen, across Aberdeenshire and also Morayshire. It includes those who are working together in large practices, and others operating as sole practitioners. The Society is run by a Council who meet monthly, and sit on RIAS Committees which discuss Environment, Practice, CPD, and Education and the many other facets of the profession. The chapter runs a Student Awards scheme, with prizes gifted annually to students Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, and recently the ASA has instituted its own Design Awards, to recognise excellence in architecture designed by Chapter members.
